This was one of my first Sharepoint books. It’s highly recommended, as every Sharepoint book in general is. You want to develop Sharepoint, read all you can get your hands on.
Sharepoint ruins Zip-files

Appraently Sharepoint 2003 ruins zip-files. A pain that gave my sp2003 installation an extra challenge. As if Sharepoint hasn’t given us enough of those:
“A common question that I see in the Microsoft Public newsgroup on Sharepoint Portal Server is when companies decide to put zip files in Document libraries and then once downloaded become corrupt. The route cause of this problem is actually IIS and not Sharepoint hence this Whitepaper will show you how to change the settings in IIS in order to support Zip files without corruption.”

I wrote a few posts on Google personalized homepage. I love the tabs, but need more tabs than the default. Every time I want to add new tabs, I have to Google for it. So, for my own sake, I’ll write a short note on how to add new tabs to Googles personalized homepage : http://www.google.com/ig.
When you login to your own page at Google’s, and need more tabs than possible, all you have to do, is write the following in the adressbar, and vupti, you’ll be asked to name your new tab. So simple
